Розвиток органів сечостатевої системи в ранньому ембріогенезі Balaenoptera acutorostratа

Abstract
For the first time, the reseach of the embryogenesis of the urogenital
system in a Mysticeti representative, B. acutorostrata, is carried out. The
data on topografic-anatomical interrelations between mesonephros,
metanephros, and gonada in early embryogenesis are presented. The
morphometric regularities of the formation of mesonephric and metanephric
kidneys in interconnection with intraorgan differentiation processes are
established. On the basis of comparative-embryological analysis of the
research results, the heterochronies of the development of B. acutorostrata
metanephros and gonada are found. The possibility of kidney's functioning in
the prenatal period of the wales development is considered.
