Abstract
Under certain conditions, a сatalytic reaction in porous
catalyst granules used in industrial
heterogeneous catalysis is accompanied by the occurrence of a
''dead zone'' in their central area.
Therefore, the active area and the efficiency decrease. For
a consecutive chemical reaction, we
investigate the influence of various physico-chemical parameters
on the occurrence and development
of a ''dead zone'' in porous catalyst granules.
