Ukraine and Eastern Europe in general),
plant conservation, comparative study of alien flora
(especially plants of American origin in
Europe and Eurasian plants in North America), biology of weedy species,
invasive plants and "floristic pollution",
taxonomy and phytogeography of Chenopodiaceae (especially Chenopodium,
Corispermum, Salsola s.l.), Amaranthaceae (Amaranthus),
Polygonaceae, Asteraceae, Poaceae
and some other plant families
